Officially have made it to one year in Chicago, IL. I’ve very much enjoyed exploring my neighborhood, making new friends at monthly craft nights, and collecting (and making) warm pieces of clothing.

When I need a good escape, I binge TV and crochet, edit photos, or find friends that will see movies with me. I also try to make my own entertainment by learning new songs on my violin, taking pictures on my film camera, and sketching sculptures at the museum.

As for future aspirations…

I hope to work with communicative and collaborative people that have a clear purpose to why they do what they do. I want to continue fostering inclusive and accepting environments with other people that value that too. And, I am excited to focus my craft towards projects that believe in human-made process with a well-informed use of technology.

Additionally, I would like to one day have enough art to fill a booth at an art fair, learn how to play the drums, cure all my allergies, see Cynthia Erivo perform live, learn how to use my Heely’s again, and finish the medium NYT sudoku in under 10 minutes.
